Introduction to Sign Language

Today, Year 8 pupils Amelia, Anna, Joel and Lloyd, together with other pupils within the Area Learning Community, had the opportunity to learn sign language from pupils at Jordanstown School. They learned basic words and phrases related to emotions, foods, colours and animals, the alphabet, and the importance of smiling when talking to those who are deaf.
