PASTORAL CARE

At Belfast High School we emphasise the importance of an effective three-way partnership between pupils, school and home, placing a very high value on pastoral care. We firmly believe that pupils who are happy, settled and feel supported are most likely to fulfil their potential. Our established links with local primary schools ensure that our pastoral care programme begins while pupils are still in primary school as we facilitate a smooth transition to Belfast High School. All pupils are supported by their Form Teacher and Head of Year who are on hand to answer questions that pupils may have about life at Belfast High School.
