This year, a number of Year 13 pupils are participating in a project run by Habitat for Humanity called Change Makers. The 12 pupils involved in the project benefit from 2 school-based workshops exploring how they can make positive changes to society both locally and globally. Yesterday, the pupils visited Habitat’s ReStore facility in Lisburn where they volunteered to assist with upcycling and organising toys and games in the lead up to Christmas. In the new year, the group will also organise some fundraising activities in School to support the work of Habitat for Humanity. Well done to all involved!
