Exodus

During the summer break, Year 11 pupil Grace travelled to South Africa on an Exodus trip.  She worked in George Royal Academy, a school educating local township children, primarily through sport.  Grace and her team led assemblies in a local primary school and sports activities for the high school teenagers.  She had the opportunity to play hockey and netball with the girls, as well as taking part in practical projects including distributing clothes and food parcels to the homeless.  The team worked alongside former pupil Jonny Lyness, who is working as intern at George Sports Academy this year.
