Competition Success

We are delighted to report that Year 12 pupil Emma has been selected as the overall winner of the final stage of the 2025-2026 Rotary Ireland Youth Leadership Development Competition, in conjunction with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Dublin.

Emma was interviewed about her contributions to her community and the environment, leadership, local, national and European environmental issues and about her understanding of key issues facing the European Union and wider society.

Emma's prize is a visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg to take part in Euroscola in January/February 2026. This programme brings together young people from all over Europe to gain hands on experience of parliamentary democracy through becoming an MEP for a day.
