Bursary Awards Success

Congratulations to Year 13 pupil Sarah who was presented with the Volunteering Award at the Mrs Joan Christie Bursary Awards this week. The Bursary Scheme offers gifted young musicians, volunteers and schools the opportunity to apply for a £1,000 bursary. Sarah has been volunteering with the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice since February as care support volunteer. Sarah said “I love volunteering in the Hospice as I have been able to make the nurses jobs easier and make an impact on the children and their families, helping them to enjoy their stay in the Hospice.”
