Belfast High School is a co-educational, voluntary grammar school founded in 1854 with a current enrolment of 968 pupils.
About the Department
The Mathematics Department consists of 7 subject specialists including the Head of Department. The School follows the CCEA specification for GCSE and A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
Main Responsibilities
The Board of Governors is seeking to appoint a full-time permanent Teacher of Mathematics from September 2026. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher, committed to enabling pupils to realise their highest academic potential. They will be an excellent classroom practitioner who will convey an enthusiasm for the subject to the pupils they teach.
