FRIENDS OF BHS
Since our formation in 1987, the Friends have raised tens of thousands of pounds for the School. This money has helped provide additional equipment for the School. Each year there are various fundraising events. After our AGM in October we meet bimonthly to arrange events and are always keen to explore about new ways to raise funds.
Our mission is two-fold:

to raise funds for the School;

to encourage parents and friends to enjoy themselves.
​We in the Friends are very proud of our School and enjoy contributing to the life of the School on Open Day and supporting other events such as Saturday morning sport.
​
Over the past few years we have:
-
purchased curtains and AV equipment for the assembly hall;

purchased picnic tables;
-
operated the Snack Shack each Saturday morning.
​
Events include treasure hunts and BBQs, quizzes, plant sales, golf days and the annual Christmas tree sale. Details about our events are shared with parents/carers via email and are also posted on the School’s social media.
