THE SCHOOL DAY
The School operates a two-week timetable. Pupils receive a copy of their timetable which outlines their classes for each day for Week 1 and Week 2.
Each school day begins with registration or assembly at 9.10am. Pupils attend assembly at least once per week, unless excused by request of their parents/carers. The School operates a 10 day timetable cycle with five 60 minute lessons, a 15 minute break and a 45 minute lunch per day. The school day finishes at 3.40pm and at 3.05pm on a Wednesday.

ATTENDANCE
The school year runs from late August to the end of June. Pupil attendance is a core aspect of the partnership between the School and parents/carers and we value our ongoing parental support with attendance to maximise pupils’ learning. What might seem like a small level of absence has a huge impact.
100% Attendance - 0 school days missed
95% Attendance - 9 school days missed - 1 weeks and 4 days
90% Attendance - 19 school days missed - 3 weeks and 4 days

Attendance has a significant impact on academic attainment.
