Pythagoras

Pythagoras Pythagoras of Samos was a 6th-century BC Greek philosopher and mathematician who founded a movement known as Phythagoreanism. He is credited with the discovery of the Pythagorean theorem which states that the square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. The Pythagoreans were the first to consider the earth as a globe revolving with other planets around a central fire.
