BHS Spelling Bee 2010

Congratulations to all KS3 pupils who took part.  Round 1 was held online – a link to the Times Spelling Bee website – and 120 pupils participated.  Round 2 was a competition between the 3 highest-scoring classes (one from each Year Group).  The 3 best players in 8R, 9R and 10R were selected to represent their classes in the team event.  The winners were the 8R team consisting of Rebekah Logan, Gemma Martin and Tyler McBride who will represent Belfast High School at the Times Spelling Bee Championship in March 2011.  The overall champion speller in the school Spelling Bee was Rebekah Logan.  Well done!!
