Medallion Rugby Squad Victory
Belfast High School Medallion XV defeated Grosvenor Grammar School 10-6 on Saturday to reach the fourth round of the Medallion Shield. This was a close, tense encounter with the High School trailing 6-5 at half-time. Both teams played well in the second half with some fine rugby from the High School. In the last minute of the game, following a strong run through the centre by Ryan McGonigle and good work from Ryan Elliott, Daniel de Becker scored in the corner, his second of the game. The fourth round match will be played against Down High School at home on Saturday 31 January, kick off 10.30 am.
