Friends of Belfast High School

Since our formation in 1987, the Friends have raised tens of thousands of pounds for the School.  This money has helped provide additional equipment for the School eg minibus, computers and stage equipment.  Each year there are various fund-raising events.  After our AGM in September/October we meet every couple of months (or as required) to arrange events and are always keen to hear about new ways to raise funds.  Like most Parent-Teacher Associations we have a two-fold mission:

It can be hard work but it can also be great fun – it very much depends on how much you are prepared to put in!  We in the Friends are very proud of ‘our’ school and we often get an opportunity to show our pride during the year at Open Nights etc.
