Gardening Club
Members of the Gardening Club are mainly a group of enthusiastic first and second formers. Over the years they have participated in ‘Best Kept School’ competitions and designed and maintained a small courtyard area in the school, now commonly known as ‘The First Form Garden.’
Most activities take place in early Autumn, Spring and Summer. Due to the weather conditions and dark evenings the Gardening Club ‘goes to seed’ during the Winter months. Activities begin again in early Spring and a range of activities, such as planting seeds and replanting the First Form Garden, last until the end of June.
