Other Achievements

Six pupils from Form 3 won Commended prizes for their entries in the Jowett Sendelaar Essay competition 2008. They are Laura Patten, Patrick Scullion, Stephen Murray, Sky Aughey, Paul Neill and Megan McDowell. Their essays were on why the Greeks won the Persian Wars. Belfast High School has much previous success in this and other essay competitions for Classics with many pupils winning substantial cash prizes for their efforts.
