Careers
As we have already noted in our introduction, Chemistry is in many ways the central Science as it can branch into the biological and physical world as well as having its own character. In fact some say that the area of study is becoming so large that it it is starting to fragment into its specialist areas at University level.
Studying Chemistry at 'A' Level can be important for the following reasons:

A study of Chemistry or one of its branches opens up a large number of of careers e.g.the chemical industry (one of the largest industries in the U.K.), Marketing, Law, Financial industries or Teaching |
Chemistry as an essential 'A' Level |
Some courses such as Medicine, Veterinary Science, Dentistry etc require an excellent grade in Chemistry. |
Chemistry as an academic qualification |
Chemistry graduates have high employment potential whether involved in chemistry or not. |
