A Level Biology

In September 2000, pupils began the new scheme of assessment for sixth form students. This includes an Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level in L6. The Advanced (A) Level, taken in U6 builds on the foundations of knowledge, understanding and skills developed within the AS in Biology.

The new specification encompasses a huge number of subject areas. For this reason the course is very versatile in the number of University Courses that can be followed and the number of positions of employment which would be available. The following are just some of the courses that have been applied for by the present sixth form:

 Physiotherapy  Veterinary Science  Medicine
 Biochemistry  Immunology  Zoology
 Sports Science  Physiology  Dentistry
